In a world built on confession, her notebooks became a second conscience…

Anne Parr uses art as a way to express aspects of her experiences that just can’t be captured in words. She loves to read diary comics—John Porcellino’s King Cat being her favorite, and believes abstraction, humor, and experimentation all lead to finding one’s own voice.

When making art, Anne listens to vinyl and lets the music influence what emerges onto the page.
